I have trained with Nate on two separate occasions and have known him for 7 years. The first time I met Nate was back in March of 2011 when I decided that it was time to make a change in my life. The reason for the change was that I was overweight, unhealthy and unhappy with myself. At first, I was a little intimidated because here was this fit guy and by fit, I mean a pretty muscular guy who resembled a short version of Brad Pitt. What I realized after my initial meeting with Nate was that he genuinely seemed to care about wanting to help me make a change in my life on a personal level. He listened to my story, asked me what I wanted to accomplish, but more importantly why and then began to lay out a plan to help me succeed. I had never had a personal trainer before, so I was not sure exactly what to expect, but over the next few months I knew I was lucky to have come across Nate. His passion for leading a healthy lifestyle showed every day and with every session. With every milestone that I achieved he was just as excited as I was and enthusiastic in wanting to help me succeed down a path of leading an active and healthy lifestyle. At the end of my first go around with Nate I had lost 60 pounds in 7 months and even though I was not able to continue my training Nate at that time he continued to encourage me as time went on.
The second time I trained with Nate was toward the end of January of 2017. I had let myself go once again, but this time it was worse because I ballooned to 280 lbs. in July of 2016 and was going to turn 39 later that year and 40 was fast approaching. I figured if it worked well the 1st time, then it was going to work well again except this time I truly wanted to make a lifestyle change. Nate was there for me once again, but this time everything about his training was completely different. Nate had evolved as a trainer and within the first few sessions I knew he would help me make a lifestyle change because everything about the training was more intense than before. His enthusiasm and passion for leading a healthy and active lifestyle is something that inspires me. His interaction with me in and out of the gym has been incredible as he truly wants you to succeed. Nate is someone that cares about your success and wants to do everything he can within his power to help you achieve those goals and lifestyle changes. I think very highly of Nate and I believe 100% in what he does because I have seen the results. I will continue to strive to get more results and I know how much he truly cares about my success on a personal level. If you truly do want to make a change and are willing to put in the work, then Nate is going to give you the blueprint for success, you just must be honest with yourself on whether you truly want it or not and then execute it.
